Rebecca is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She was born and raised in West Tennessee. Her medical career began in 1992, after she graduated from Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Union University in 1995. In 2017, Rebecca was awarded her Master of Science in Nursing Degree from Union University with an emphasis in Nursing Education. Because of her love for clinical practice, she continued her education by obtaining a Post-Graduate Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University in St. Louis. She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also certified in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing with the National Certification Corporation. Rebecca is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice through Samford University in Birmingham Alabama. She will focus her clinical research in Women’s health.
With over 30 years of experience, she has a background in High-Risk Obstetrics, Neonatal Nursing, Women’s Health, and Coronary and Obstetric Critical Care Nursing.
Rebecca is a member of Sigma International Nursing Honor Society, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, West TN Nurse Practitioners Association, Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing, and the American Nurses Association.
Rebecca’s philosophy of providing health care is to offer competent, compassionate, holistic care. She believes health addresses body, mind and spirit. Rebecca’s desire is to provide care that honors the uniqueness of each patient while helping them achieve their personal definition of health.
